Seguin Lakes Water Monitoring and Water Quality Model
In 2008, Gartner Lee Limited (now AECOM) was retained by the Township to prepare a water quality monitoring grogram and a water quality model. In 2008, twenty-two (22) lakes were tested and 38 were tested during the spring and summer 2009.
There are 4 parameters of testing as listed:

Spring phosphorus

Dissolved organic carbon (doc)
-
Water clarity (secchi depth)
-
End of summer dissolved oxygen and temperature profiles.
On December 7th, 2009, Tammy Karst-Riddoch, PH.D. with AECOM presented Township Council with the final version of the water quality model program.
