The Mayors and Councils of the Municipalities of Seguin, Parry Sound, and McDougall announced in May, 2006 an Economic Development Strategy (EDS) that outlines a collaborative framework to stimulate and enhance economic development on a partnership basis between the three municipalities. The EDS recognizes that since economic development in one municipality is beneficial for all three municipalities, it simply makes good sense to promote all three municipalities as a single development community.
