The goals, objectives and policies contained in the Official Plan are intended to guide the decisions of public authorities and private landowners until 2025. The Plan is more than a set of individual policies; it is a comprehensive policy document. The Official Plan is intended to be read in its entirety and the relevant policies are to be applied to each situation. Landowners, developers, and all users of this Plan should read all of the relevant policies as if they are cross-referenced with each other. While specific policies sometimes refer to other policies, these cross-references do not take away from the need to treat the Official Plan as a comprehensive document.
CURRENCY: Council periodically passes amendments to the Official Plan. While every attempt has been made to ensure the currency of the Official Plan, you should contact the Planning Department to discuss the designation of any lands or to discuss how the Plan may affect the use and/or development of any lands within the Township of Seguin.
