The Township of Seguin provides a wide range of services and fulfills its responsibilities of a local government. The Chief Administrative Officer is the most senior official in the Township's administrative structure. The CAO advises Council in the management of organizational, fiscal and service delivery challenges. As head of the civic administration, the CAO is also accountable to Council for leading and guiding the staff management team in providing cost effective, quality services that respond to the needs of the Township.
Quality services are provided by the Township of Seguin through several means; that is, by employees of the Township, contractors or volunteers, or through joint municipal boards or commissions. These services include land use planning, building inspections, economic development, policing, recreation and cultural facilities and programs, health and long-term care facilities and services, cemeteries, libraries, waste management and disposal services, fire prevention and protection, road construction and maintenance, animal control services and environmental programs, etc.
